Air movement in the chamber

An airflow tunnel is placed between the roof and the underceiling. This tunnel houses the varying number of fans that provide airflow in two directions. This is done by reversible fans, which assure the same efficiency in both directions of the airflow. The fans blades are made by aluminium with an adjustable angle. Tropicalized motors for operating temperatures up to 90°C/195F0 and moisture content to 100%. Special motors are available for temperatures up to 120°C/250 F0

Heating of the chamber

The heating can be done by hot water, overheated water or steam. Heat Exchangers are constructed in a modular package of bimetallic finned pipe. The inside of the exchanger is steel or stainless pipe covered with a sleeve of extruded finned aluminum pipe. The size and number exchanger packages is calculated according to the chamber characteristics and the required thermal capacity. Each exchanger package includes manifolds for in/outlet piping for connecting the heat exchangers to the steam or hot water lines.

Humidification

The humidification system is composed of spray nozzles in brass and pipes in stainless steel and it is suitable to maintain the correct hygrometric equilibrium between the wood and the inside chamber environment.
