Constant monitoring of the moisture content of the
wood.
Stainless
steel electrodes that have been installed in the wood at strategic
locations of the charge and connected to the processor are constantly
monitoring the wood moisture content.
An electronic probe inside the chamber monitors the temperature at
all times.
The
equilibrium moisture content (EMC) is accurately indicated to the
processor by a cellulose strip mounted to the EMC sensor.
In some
cases, such as high temperature kilns or Customer preference, the climate
inside the chamber can be controlled by a relative moisture survey
electronic probe (RH) or by a psychrometer.
